As an editor, I supervised, for nearly two years, the series "Gens Suspects" and "Dessous des Dates", which deal with the contemporary history of Tunisia. These two series are produced by the historian Arwa Labidi.
Suspicious People | 1910-1930
The "Gens suspects" series retraces elements of the experiences of 12 people on file with the French intelligence services in Tunisia between the years 1910 and 1930. Drawing its sources from the archives of the same name kept at the National Archives, "Gens Suspects “attempts to make these police records written a century ago speak and to understand the colonial experience through the prism of security.
Beyond the Dates
“Beyond the Dates” is a series of articles focusing on key dates in Tunisia's contemporary history. The series aims to reconstruct the narrative of individual and collective memories, through the lens of a particular context or a nationally significant event.
